Join us on Monday, October 5th at 6:00 p.m. for our Hiring Open House. We are looking for two part-time sales associates who are available during the week to join the KGY team. Our sales staff will be there, so you get a chance to meet your future co-workers and ask them any questions you may have about life on the other side of the counter. You will also get to sit down with Kerry for some one-on-one time to chat about the shop and the job. After the Open House, we’ll decide who we would like to call back for a more formal interview. If you’re called back you will be asked to fill out a full application and schedule a time to meet.
What we’re looking for: Friendly, organized, and enthusiastic people to join our team. You should have a passion for knitting and crafting, a knack for customer service, and the ability to manage various store responsibilities with a positive attitude. Knitting experience required, crocheting experience a plus.
When: Monday, October 5, 2026, 6:00 p.m.
Where: Knitty Gritty Yarns, 715 Old Liverpool Road
What to bring: Just you! And maybe a notepad.
What to wear: We like to keep it casual at KGY, suits not required.
What to expect: a super friendly sales team, ready to (honestly) answer your questions. Snacks and drinks.
We are asking participants to RSVP by Saturday, 10/3. Mostly so we know what the heck is going on.
