Harmony Fingering
Harmony Fingering is a plied, fingering‑weight, non-superwash yarn made from 50% wool and 50% alpaca, sourced from animals raised in the highlands of Peru. It's is processed in family-owned, fair‑trade mills using reclaimed mill ends, ensuring nothing goes to waste. Its non‑superwash finish keeps the carbon footprint low by reducing water use during production.
Despite being non-superwash, the Harmony yarns are soft enough for next-to-skin wear. The wool and alpaca absorb dye differently, creating a gentle heathered look and a slight halo. Harmony Fingering is a versatile choice and will work equally beautifully in everything from lace shawls and colorwork sweaters.
