Noro Sonata is the other side of the brand’s signature gradients—rich, saturated semi-solids in a wool-free blend built around breathable plant-based fibers for warm-weather knitting and next-to-skin wear.

Each fiber has a job: 35% cotton forms the breathable, structural base; 25% viscose adds drape and a subtle sheen; 20% silk gives it the smooth, cool hand and the quiet luminosity that silk always brings; 20% polyamide keeps it durable enough for real wear and washing. The result is a sport-weight yarn that feels more luxurious than the price suggests, with stitch definition sharp enough for lace and texture, and enough drape for lightweight sweaters, tees, tanks, and wraps you’ll actually want to wear in the heat.

The colorway palette runs deep — over 60 options ranging from clean neutrals (Vanilla, Stone, Pebble) to fully saturated brights (Magenta, Chartreuse, Punch) to rich jewel tones (Lapis, Currant, Concord). These are Noro's colors applied to a semi-solid format: complex and layered within each skein, but consistent enough to work in colorwork and stitch patterns without the gradient doing all the talking.
