La Jolla Monthly Colors

Every month, Mira at Baah Yarn creates one new limited-edition colorway designed to flow naturally from the one before it. Collect them throughout the year and they become a seamless fade across the calendar—a series that’s as satisfying to knit with as it is to collect.

While Baah dyes the monthly colorway on several different bases, we bring it in on La Jolla, their signature fingering-weight yarn. The photos show recent monthly releases side by side, giving you a sense of how beautifully the colors transition from one month to the next.

La Jolla is 100% superwash Merino wool, hand painted in small batches in Baah’s Las Vegas studio. Each 115g skein contains 400 yards of fingering-weight yarn with exceptional stitch definition, a wonderfully soft hand, and the kind of layered color that makes hand-dyed yarn so compelling.

Because every skein is painted individually, no two are exactly alike—even within the same dye batch. That’s not a disclaimer. That’s the point.

Each month’s colorway is released on the first of the month and is available only while supplies last. Once it’s gone, it isn’t dyed again, so if this month’s color speaks to you, be sure to pick up enough for your project.
