Eternity is a gradient-dyed cotton yarn from Lang Yarns — dyed in long, flowing color sequences before construction, so the transitions unfold stitch by stitch without any colorwork required. Simple patterns are the move here: stockinette, basic lace, clean textures. Complex stitch patterns compete with the gradient rather than showcasing it.

The chainette construction is what makes this behave differently from standard cotton. That hollow, tube-like structure gives it a lightness, drape, and softness that flat-spun cotton can't match — it feels more airy than most cottons knit up, with 372 yards per 100g ball and a gauge that sits firmly in DK territory despite Lang's worsted label. Plan accordingly when substituting.

Machine washable. Best for summer tops, light cardigans, large shawls, and any project where you want the color to carry the whole thing.

Note - the product details below are what Lang printed on the label. I really believe it is a DK. It's very similar to Juniper Moon's Cirrus in weight and construction.
