Sueno DK

Soft enough for a baby sweater, durable enough for everyday socks, and machine washable enough to give as a gift without the care-label speech. Sueño DK does a lot.

This is an 80% superwash Merino, 20% bamboo viscose blend, made in Peru and designed for real wearability. The Merino brings the softness, the warmth, and that characteristic spring that makes it pleasant to knit — not too tight, not too loose, with just enough elasticity to keep your gauge consistent across a long project. The bamboo adds a subtle sheen, a hint of drape, and a smoothness that makes the finished fabric feel more elevated than the price tag suggests.

The gauge range is genuinely wide — 5 to 6 stitches per inch on US 3 to 7 needles — which means you can adjust the needle size to get a denser, more durable fabric for socks and kids' things, or a softer, drapier hand for sweaters and accessories. One yarn, a lot of options.
