Move 6-Ply
Move 6-Ply is what happens when you take everything that makes a good color-changing sock yarn fun and give it more room to play.
The colors travel slowly through the ball in long, gradual shifts. How those shifts play out depends on what you’re making: across a sweater they’ll move more quickly through the fabric, while a smaller project like a sock may only travel through part of the gradient. No changing yarns, no planning a color sequence, no pile of ends waiting for you when you’re finished. You just keep knitting and see where the color takes you.
Move 6-Ply is 75% extrafine superwash Merino and 25% nylon, with a round, plied construction that gives it good bounce and crisp stitch definition. The Merino makes it soft enough for sweaters, cowls, hats, and other next-to-skin projects, while the nylon adds durability—particularly useful for socks, mittens, and anything else that gets a lot of friction and wear.
The colorways range from earthy and subdued to clear, saturated brights, but it’s the length of those color changes that makes the yarn interesting. In simple stockinette, you can let the progression be the whole show. Add texture or cables and the colors move through the stitches, changing the way the pattern looks as you go.
It’s machine washable, which is exactly what you want from a yarn with this many possible jobs.

I loved working with this yarn. It's soft and squishy but still structured enough to do colorwork. -Kerry
