Remix Wool DK is spun from 100% recycled fibers — 38% recycled wool, 28% polyamide, 22% cotton, 7% acrylic, and 5% other reclaimed fibers — into a DK that has the warmth and texture of wool without using a single virgin fiber to get there. The recycled wool brings elasticity and depth of color that the wool-free Remix versions can't replicate; the polyamide and cotton keep the blend durable and soft. The result is a tweedy DK with clean stitch definition and the kind of earthy, nuanced colorways that reward textured patterns, cables, and stranded colorwork equally.

327 yards per 100g skein is generous yardage for a DK, which makes it practical for sweaters without requiring an alarming number of skeins.

Like Remix Wool worsted, this yarn requires hand washing — the recycled wool is not superwash treated. If you need machine washable, Remix Light (DK), Remix (worsted), and Remix Chunky (bulky) are the wool-free options. For a heavier wool option, Remix Wool is the same blend in a worsted weight.
