9th Anniversary Knitty Fix

Nine years of community, creativity, late-night cast-ons, enabling, problem-solving, cheering each other on, and making beautiful things together calls for a very special Knitty Fix.

This anniversary edition was inspired by the traditional 9th anniversary wedding gifts: rich texture, deep color, handmade artistry, and a little bit of everyday luxury. Think worn-in leather, hand-thrown pottery, willow baskets overflowing with fiber, deep lapis blues, and poppies in bloom — all translated into a cozy, creative Knitty Fix experience.

Every year, we commission a custom colorway created exclusively for Knitty Gritty by one of our favorite indie dyers. This year, 29 Bridges Studio is dreaming up our anniversary color, and we cannot wait for you to see it.

One thing that has always made Knitty Fix special is that every box includes something you cannot get as part of the general public release — exclusive yarn, limited-edition extras, or custom touches created just for this experience. Opening a Knitty Fix feels like being part of something special… because you are.

Knitty Fixes are ONLY available by pre-order. Pre-orders will be open until May 23, after that we won't be able to accept any more. Boxes will ship on or about June 20 and be available to pick up at KGY starting at our 9th Anniversary party on June 20. We will ship your Knitty Fix anywhere in the US for a flat $10 shipping fee.

What is a Knitty Fix? A Knitty Fix is a curated box of fibery goodness for people who love a surprise!

What’s in a Knitty Fix? Every Knitty Fix has yarn, a pattern (usually knit and crochet), and some extra goodies to make crafting happy.

When do you release them? Right now, Knitty Fixes don't have a regular schedule, but are released to coincide with an event (Local Yarn Store Day, the holidays, KGY’s birthday) and are themed around that event. But sometimes we do it just because! Sign up for our newsletter below to get first notice when there is a new one. We hope to offer them on a more frequent schedule in the future.

How long does it take to arrive?Typically the boxes arrive within 2-3 days of shipping, depending on your location. If you want to send it as a gift, we're happy to ship it directly to your loved one.

How do I get one? You can order it right from our website. Pre-orders close July 22, and we have a limited number. Your box will be ready for pick-up at the shop starting on August 31 or we can ship it for a flat $10 shipping fee so it arrives on or about the 31st.
