Glimmer

Glimmer is a fine weight cotton blend with paillettes — tiny sequin-like discs — and fine metallic thread woven in, so it catches light without shouting about it. Knit it solo for a fabric with subtle texture and a quiet shimmer. Hold it alongside another yarn and it transforms the whole project: adding depth, dimension, and a glow that reads as intentional rather than costume-y.

The base is 38% cotton, 35% nylon, 27% polyester — soft, durable, and machine washable. The paillettes are built into the construction, not glued on, so they hold up through wear and washing without shedding. Seven colorways named for gemstones: Pearl, Diamond, Moonstone, Rose Quartz, Topaz, Sapphire, Onyx. Every one of them works as an accent; some of them work as the main event.

557 yards per 150g skein means one ball goes a long way — enough for a full shawl solo, or several projects held alongside a heavier yarn.
